The trailer for season 2 of The Buried Life came out yesterday & it looks SO good!!!! I absolutely love this show so much & I was addicted to it from the first trailer for season 1 lol! It's amazing what these guys do & I always ended up crying after every episode last season. I'm glad to see the boys are back doing great things for society. I wish there were more people like them in the world <3 Oh & it doesn't help that they're all good looking too...Ben is so hot haha ;)

Long Day
This was only my third day of classes this semester, but I feel like I've already been in school for a month lol! Today was sooo exhausting & long! Thank goodness for Starbucks :D I still love all my classes & everything, but I was given a project for my Event Promotions class today & I'm really gonna have my work cut out for me. Yesterday was very fun, took the train down to denver, then destinee and i went to pinkberry (yum!) before going to chiles for lunch haha. after, we went to the platte river to check it out and ended up swimming a little! then we headed over to the skatepark to see if there was anyone we knew there. Unfortunately, my iPhone was being stupid and wouldnt unlock so i could only get two pictures!! ugh haha oh well .. there was a rockies game AND the broncos game yesterday btw... lots of tebow jerseys ;) -Geanet

Besides the Emmy's tonight was the Broncos & Steelers game on Fox!! Tebow played a lot of the second half & I was so happy :D He did really well too!! He threw an interception, but he also threw for a TD & had some nice long yard completions to his WR's!! He's looking a lot better than he did his forst game & that's really good to see! I still can't believe he's in the NFL, so proud of that boy <3

One week until the start of College Football!!!!! Sorry for the bad bloging, i had some stuff to do (: haha, but i did make the food!! sorry, i wasnt able to get pictures of the brown sugar shortbread cookies, i brought them to school and my friends and i finished them haha! :D but, i did make the fritattas, heres the recipe if you want to make them! (:
Ingredients
Cooking spray
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2/3 cup chopped veggie burger (i used the chicken flavored boca burger)
1/3 cup (about 1 1/2 ounces) shredded reduced-fat extra-sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
4 large egg whites
1 large egg
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350°.
Heat a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Add onion; saute 2 minutes or until crisp-tender. Add ham; saute 3 minutes. Remove from heat; cool 5 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl; stir with a whisk. Add rest of mixture, continue stirring with a whisk. Spoon mixture into 24 miniature muffin cups coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until set.

My Fair Wedding
WE has been showing a My Fair Wedding marathon all day & it's making it really hard to get my errands done cause I just wanna sit & watch this show all day lol! This is one my favoriteeee bridal shows on tv right now! David Tutera is my idol, he's one of the main reasons why I want to be a wedding planner & I would give anything in the whole world to just work with him on one wedding! He's so funny & sarcastic sometimes, but he knows what he's doing when it comes to weddings! His eye for detail is amazing. This past spring I interned for a local wedding planner & she got to meet David Tutera & I was sooo jealous! She told me she like picked his brain, so she told me everything they talked about it & it made me love him & the wedding planning business even more. He just loves what he does & loves to make women happy on their special day & that's exactly what I want to do :)

I think my sleep schedule, this gloomy weather, and not being used to being back in school have finally caught up to me. I am soooo out of it today! The best thing about college is that you don't really have to go to school all 5 days of the week...unless you really want to lol. But I can realllly get used to this only going to class only 2 days a week ;) My past 2 years of college, I went MWF, so it's nice to only have to go Monday & Wednesday now! I have a 4 day weekend for the next 4 months lol...woo :D

These 3 hour breaks between my classes are so nice! I wish I wasn't so embarrassed to sleep in public though, cause I would totally take a nap in the student lounge lol! But today is actually really fun cause the student activities board put on a 2010 Fall kickoff party thing to welcome back all the students! I've been listening to Katy Perry's new album for the past couple hours & I cannot stop listening to it. It's really good & veryyyy catchy & fun! But this song, 'Pearl,' is soooo beautiful! Rainy Day <3
Today is another rainy day in the ole sunshine state lol! I'm so happy :) It probably sounds weird, but I cannot express my love for rainy days. First Day
Today was the first day of sophomore year for me (grade 10) and wow im lucky i will most likely only be in these classes for a semester (ill explain more about that another day hehe (; ). Biology and geometry seem like they'll be my easiest classes, AP World History will most definitely be the hardest! I studied all night but i still think i didnt do well on the pop quiz :/ but its okay because it was only for a couple points and we get quizzed on a weekly basis lol!:D For those who dont know, im America high school students can take college level classes and you know its college level if there is "AP" before it :) French will also be challenging but i know i can pull that off if i practice.. the only class i really have a problem with is art. Its not the teacher, or the class itself, its the kids. Honestly what... a bunch of assholes. Eugh I know that is such an ugly sentence but its all i can think of to describe these kids. I thought my school was different than the stereotypical high school you see in movies, but some people just really want to live up to those stereotypes and it isnt pretty. Oh well, art is something i enjoy and im going to try to not let them ruin that .. :) each day at school is one more day closer to leaving ;) -Geanet

I think today was one of my best first days of school everrrrr!!! My classes are amazing, very easy, my teachers are the best, & I met some awesome people!!!! :D I think Mondays & Wednesdays are gonna be my favorite days of the week lol ;) For all my classes, I don't have to do any big papers & I only have like 2 tests each in them lol! I can't believe today is my last day of summer :( It all went by so fast, but honestly I think that's a good thing. My summer was so nice! Although I didn't really do anything, it was still a summer I'll never forget. This was my first summer that I didn't really do anything & that was nice. I just relaxed and had time for myself. This was the first summer that I didn't go on any big trips or spent time away from home & that was nice for a change. I guess I'm ready to get back to school just to have something to do lol, but with summer coming to an end, that just means we're closer to the start of Hockey & Football, & I would rather have those sports all year than a summer break lol! So in a way, I'm glad summer is coming to an end, but I'm bummed I'll be busier now lol. This was one summer I'll never forget for multiple reasons & I have a smile on face just looking back at everything that happened :) Here's so the start of my Junior year! Soooo I kinda downloaded Katy Perry's new CD yesterday (I'm gonna buy it on Tuesday, don't worry lol), but I just wanted to see what it sounded like to see if it was worth buying lol. OMG it's sooooo freakin good! Like, in my opinion, a lot better than her last CD. There's so many catchy, fun songs. But there's also those ballads that are just so pretty! pretty much the main part of my day will be registering for school! its so weird to think ill be going to the same school but will se surrounded by new people since my school is so big (3600 people)! So excited and anxious at the same time! :) ..im so bruised and sore from the treatment i got at the spa the other day, but that was expected and i was told id be back to normal in a few days. Hopefully that will happen sooner than later, because my whole torso is aching, but i guess that being uncomfortable for a few days is worth it in the long run! :D

Timmy's 1st Game!!
Omg how surreal. I'm not going to lie, I teared up a little when he first stepped out onto that field for his first ever NFL snap. I have been watching this boy since he was a Junior in high school, so to see him now in the NFL, I was so emotional. I am so proud of him & to see how far he's come, it shows that dreams come true <3 I was also shaking like a mess cause I was so nervous for him lol! But I thought he did alright for a rookie :) Did a hell of alot better than Quinn lol...wouldn't be surprised if he moves up to #2 QB on the depth chart before the season starts. But OMG when he ran in for that TD with 3 seconds left in the game, I couldn't even take it. I was jumping up & down, I was SO happy for him!! I think he's gonna be just fine in the NFL...not like I ever doubted that though :) I cannot wait for next week's game!!

OMG @ that Jersey Shore episode!!! So much happened...Snooki brought the poof back, Pauly D keeps being hilarious, & Angelina needs to GTFO! She's soooo annoying lol. I loved the beginning with Vinny & getting his hair cut in the 'hood' LOL! He is so adorable...he's probably the ony one I would date from that show lol! Ronnie & Sammi are such a mess...I don't like him when he drinks at all. Sammi deserves better than that, but it looks like they're all good, so I'm happy for them :) But OMG at Snookie & Vinny lmao! That whole part with them was hilarious LOL! MVP supporting a GFA LOL! When the guys ditched Angelina, I legit clapped...that was amazing lol. Coming up in November, The Bridal Society here in Orlando is offering a Wedding Planning Traning Course & I reallllly want to go!! This, along with my regular school courses, is exactly what I need to get experience in what I want to do in the future. I would totally be down for this, except this course is $395 :/ Maybe this is what I'll ask for Christmas LOL! Just started this movie. One of my favorites of all time...like top 5 <3 It's so real & shows what relationships are really like. It was just me, my best friend in the city we're gonna call home in 2 years! OMG the video for 'Teenage Dream' is sooooo good!!!! It totally fits the song & portrays what it's all about. This whole video is exactly what I envision when I hear this song. It's all about a crush on that boy & all the crazy emotions you go through & all the fun you two have together! However, it made me realize that I haven't felt that way about a guy in awhile lol. Ok so I didn't watch any of the Bachelor Pad cause the Teen Choice Awards were too good lol! The Glee guys were sooooo adorable co-hosting :) I love Cory Monteith <3 And Katy Perry was also cute too, I love her!! David Beckham won for choice male athlete & I very much agree with that ;) Twilight won the biggest award for the evening, which is NO shock lol! And Taylor Swift won for something lol, but her acceptance speech was sooo adorable! She wasn't there so she pre-recorded her speech & did this surfing thing on her lake, it was so funny!! I can't believe it's already been 2 months since like the best day of my life! I was looking through old pictures a little bit ago & I came across a picture that I haven't seen in sooo long! It brought back so many great memories of how awesome things used to be & why I cannot wait for my future. It's a picture of me & my best friend, & 2 girls that we don't talk to anymore. It was taken last year when I went out to a club one night with my girls. I had just gone through a really hard time & my friends wanted to take me out to forget about things & it ended up being one of the best nighs of my life. We went to some country-themed bar & it was so much fun! We rode the mechanical bull & just danced the whole night! The 2 girls that I'm not friends with anymore, we're not friends for a specific reason & sometimes I miss them, but then I remember the types of people that they were & I don't miss them anymore. I took some time today to think a little more about my plans for after high school. I know that I really would like to do something in fashion... not modeling (haha definitely not for me :p) or designing though. I was thinking more along the lines of being a stylist or a buyer for stores, something like that :)
I already have schools in mind for after 12th grade, but this summer program really caught my eye! It's called Dreaming + Draping + Dressing and its taught by the Parsons Paris School of Design. I hope its still available in the next couple of years!
It's been stormy all day today, so I've had a chance to stay in. Since I've done all of my summer history reading, i think I'll treat myself to a fun movie :) maybe 27 Dresses? -Geanet

Totally forgot I had LB Season 1 on DVD & found this last night lol! Watching all 11 episodes before I head out & go shopping :) This show brings back so many great memories of high school & all my friends! We would have like viewing parties & talk about everything that happened at school the day after it aired! For some reason, for my whole life, I have had this weird obsession with keys. I don't know why & I don't know evem how it started, but for some reason I just have this love for old fashioned, vintage keys. I even collect them! I go to antique stores sometimes & look specifically for these kinds of old, vintage keys. I keep them in a box, but when I move to Chicago, I want to make something out of them. Like a wall hanging or something. I think I love them so much because they all a story to them. They all have at one time or another opened something that probably meant a lot to that person. I always say that my future husband is going to have the key to my heart & it's so true. I even want to get a key tattoo on my foot one day :)

I ordered these eyeshadows from Sephora.com mostly because of the price, not because i actually needed them :p I wasnt expecting much since these colors were only $10 (USD), but im very impressed! I'm mixed, ethiopian and italian so my skin is light brown and these colors still showed up perfectly - they look exactly like you would expect them to! i imagine they would look even better on fairer skin :) My only complaint is that they are very shimmery and you have to be careful how much you use. Maybe they could be used with darker/matte colors?

The Real World has been going on for 24 seasons and in that time there have been a lot of characters and 'interesting' people. Of all of them, ryan has to be the most immature and petty!! Although Ryan is annoying to watch, Knight and Jemmye's Mom def made up for it! ♥ I didnt expect to like Jemmye at first, but now that ive seen her in action (haha) she seems to be the most down to earth one in the house!

Wow that was one crazy episode! First off I think that Jemmye & Knight would actually make a really cute couple. They both like balance each other & are crazy, but fun & like to have a good time. So I hope they get together or whatever lol. But that whole Ryan/Preston is insane. They are both immature in my opinion. I mean who pees on someone's toothbrush lol?! I personally thought it was hilarious when Ryan called the Police...I think that was taking it overboard, but I understand why he did it. He wanted to scare Preston, but it was still funny! But what Ryan did to Preston's Debit Card was so wrong! Like grow up! But I cannot wait for more episodes later this season...it looks crazyyy! I already go back to school in 3 weeks! I cannot believe it...I feel like I just got out of school! This summer was so much fun & so relaxing. I didn't really do that much, but since I'm always so buy during the school year, this summer was exactly what I needed! Plus this summer is one that I will never forget ;)

I got this book a few days ago and have not put it down since! Chelsea Handler is probably the most hilarious person on the planet :D
I also had Pinkberry for the second time ever ever ever :) I was shocked when i first saw the store because i thought it was only in California! Haha good things come when you arent searching, huh?
For those who dont know, Pinkberry is a place to get frozen yogurt with tons of different topping to choose from like fruit, chocolate, etc. Yum!
