Vacation
Ugh school is taking over my life right now!!! Not only that, but I have been really sick the past few days. Saturday I couldn't even get out of bed; Sunday I had no voice, a sore throat, & was coming down with a flu. I felt better yesterday, so I went to school, but I think my teachers were all in a bad mood or something cause they just piled up unnecessary work on top of everything I have to do for these classes. I don't know I just need a vacation or something LOL! I slept in till like 12:30ish today & working on notes all day. This weekend will be very much needed :)

Just got back from a night out with the girls! We treated ourself to sushi (yummmm spicy tuna) and saw The Town, which was amazing! I'm not going to say what happens, just go see it!! :) Ben Affleck is actually pretty attractive, and Rebecca Hall is extremely pretty! Oh, and I saw a LOT of Bruins/hockey references, which made me happy haha. I'm glad my orientation is in Boston, it looks like a beautiful place.
The whole thing about boston actually got me thinking.. when people in foreign countries think of America, they usually think of New York City and Los Angeles. I honestly think Cities like Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc could be considered "all-American", not LA or NYC. Before you go to Hollywood or the big apple, try giving those cities a shot ;) xo geanet

Today is my brother's birthday!!! I cannot believe he's 29....actually I can't believe he's gonna be 30 next year lol! I feel old! Next year is gonna be amazing, I'll be 21 & my brother will be 30...what a milestone year haha! I wish more than anything I could be back in Colorado celebrating with him & my family, but that's why things like Skype were invented lol! I'll be there next year though, when he turns the big 3-0 :D That'll be a fun weekend!

A Day To Remember
I am so excited for their new cd to come out in November!!! I'm not really into this kind of music, but this band has been a favorite of mine for years! My brother really got me into them & the fact that they're from a small town from Florida, Ocala, and have made it big is pretty cool! Some of their songs are catchy as hell & I cannot wait for their new cd! 'Have Faith in Me' will always not only be my favorite song of theirs, but also one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time :)

The leaves are already beginning to change up in the mountains, how beautiful! if any of you ever decide to visit colorado - dont go to Denver! Spend your time in the mountains, there is so much more to do there. Places like Snowmass, Breckenridge, Winter Park, and Loveland are so much fun! In the summer, there's fishing, kayaking, rafting, hiking, horseback riding, and more. Winter is even more fun - we get snowboarding and skiing... for people who are into skiing. I prefer snowboarding myself haha. xo geanet

I honestly think I have eaten my entire body weight in food - very out of character! My nephew is 8 months old today!!!! I cannot believe how fast he is growing up! It feels like yesterday he was just born! I love him more than anything in this world, that little man has stolen my heart forever <3 In just 4 months he's gonna be a whole year old, craziness!!! I cannot wait to go back to Colorado for that! That's going to be such an amazing weekend with my family :D My little guy is growing up, & I miss him more & more everyday. Everytime I get a new update on him, or see a new picture or video with him, or talk to my family on the phone, I realize how much I am missing in his life, but it's ok cause I remember that I will be there for all the other important milestones in his life! I love him & miss him so much, but all I have to do is look at a picture of my little guy & he just brightens up my day :)

First Sunday of the NFL seaosn is heeeerrrrreeeee!!!!! Eeeee :D It's like Christmas morning lol!!!! Since I live in Florida, I have to watch all my teams online, but oh wellssss! Go Bears & Broncos!!! I heard that Tebow was named Denver's #2 QB & the Broncos have a special package of plays for him!!!! SOOOO happy for him :D This boy deserves it more than anything! 9 years ago today....we'll truly never forget <3 I remember exactly where I was when I found out about this horrible tragedy. I was driving to Orlando from Tampa with my family cause we were in the process of moving. We were listening to the radio & people kept calling in about a plane that went into one of the Twin Towers & we all thought it was a hoax, but then the second plane hit & we knew our country would never be the same again. When we finally got to Orlando, instead of signing real estate papers, we found the nearest TV & just watched everything from that day. I remember I was in our real estate officer's office when the buildings went down. I will never forget the tears that were coming down on all our faces. My mom lost a really good friend that day. This day will always be hard.

Haha, just found out something very interesting! This song by The Fray was filmed at a high school a lot of my friends go to called East High School! Its one of Denver's original high schools, built in 1876. The school is beautiful, marble floors, wood panel, nice statues etc and its so close to downtown - I really wish I could have gone there .. not that im complaining about the school i go to hihi i love it:)

Four Weddings...it's on TLC & it's a really interesting show. 4 women judge each other's wedding based on their venue, dress, food, & overall experience and the woman with the best score out of 120 wins a fantasy honeymoon! This concept is kinda odd to me, cause some of these women can overly too critical, but it's still a wedding show, so of course I'm gonna watch it lol! I already got a new idea from watching it. College Gameday
It's heeeerrrreeeee!!!!! College football Saturday!!!! Yay yay yay :D I've been waiting almost 7 months for this lol! Soooo many games....GOOOO Gators, Boilermakers, Rice, Knights, Auburn, Horned Frogs!!! Those are the games I'll be watching today! My bum will be parked on my couch all day with remote in hand flipping between all the games lol! I cannot wait! Less than 2 hours till the craziness begins :D

My absolutely new favorite blog everrrr! I just stumbled across this blog today & it was love at first sight <3 Whoever created this is like an angel because it is absolutely perfect! I want to thank them lol! It's so prefect for aspiring wedding planners, like myself, because it gives you ideas for wedding themes, but it also can help future brides with ideas of their own. I love, love...it's as simple as that. And seeing things like this remind me why I love, love. That is the main reason why I want to be a wedding planner. Only 2 & 1/2 hours till the start of college football!!!!! Wooo :D And only 6 more hours till my USC Trojans kick off their season! They've had a really tough offseason with the violations & probation, but I think they're gonna pull through! They have a new coach & a great quarterback in Matt Barkley. I'm really excited to see how he does this season! Gahh give me some good ole NCAA pigskin lol :D

Labor Day Weekend!!
No classes till next Wednesday!!! Woooo :D Thank you, Labor Day lol! This weekend is gonna be amazing! Going out Friday with my girls, possibly going to the UCF football game on Saturday, tailgating, & then the beach either Sunday or Monday!!! Today, i went to school for eight hours and decided to not take my two hour break during that eight hours to do homework. And then, imediately after returning home, I went to the gym and worked out for 90 minutes on the treadmill. Just being able to set a goal (no matter how crazy.. haha) and achieve it makes me feel amazing! & Thanks to my great idea to skip going off campus for lunch, i have nothing to do tonight but relax! :D In other news, hockey is right around the corner, and im so excited! Im sure the hawks will preform this year, even with all the changes! ... but the avs still make me a little nervous. There are still people who need to be signed and time isnt going any slower. Regardless, i still love them :) Go avs & hawks! -Geanet
